What happens when a world-renowned scientist, crushed by the loss of his eldest daughter, conceives a book which will prove the non-existence of God? This is the story of Charles Darwin and his master-work ‘The Origin of Species’. It tells of a global revolution played out in the confines of a small English village; a passionate marriage torn apart by the most dangerous idea in history; and a theory saved from extinction by the logic of a child.
Opening Film at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival
Creation takes a unique and inside look at Charles Darwin, the founder of evolutionary biology and husband to a passionately religious wife. A great family man, we follow his life as, torn between religion and science, he struggles to finish research for his book ‘On the Origin of Species’.
Based on the biography penned by Darwin’s great, great Grandson, Creation stars real life husband and wife Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly. A heart-breaking love story and a fascinating insight into the very human plight of faith and knowledge.
Creation will release in selected cinemas nationally from July 15 Look for it at a cinema near you.

What happens when Mission Impossible meets the Matrix? The answer is Inception.
Here is a movie which takes the old idea of “it was only just a dream” and turns it into an amazing series of unbelievable yet believable scenarios. It is an intellectuals delight, and a thrill seekers fantasy, a reality challenging, mind expanding concept, which will have you thinking and talking all the way home.
The computer generated graphics will astonish and enthrall. the story is cleverly written from beginning to end. The characters each wonderfully portrayed by a superb cast. There is nothing bad to say about this movie even the ending is perfect - but to tell would spoil it for you.
It is a movie to see on the big screen. Do not wait to see this on dvd (although I will definitely buy it when it comes out) Academy Award Winning stuff. Another winner for all concerned. Without doubt my movie of the year.
Five stars somehow doesn’t seem enough.
