Aviator

Combat the winter blues in an outfit with edge and sass.

Mix pre ‘50s style leather flying jackets trimmed with sherling fur and tough boots with feminine dresses. Add a touch of old Hollywood glamour by teaming with leather gloves.

How to get the look:

  1. For a more relaxed look, wear with jeans, a loose tee and an oversized bag and belt.

  2. Can’t leave behind your pretty summer dresses? Introduce an aviator jacket, thick tights and boots and you’ve got a winter twist.

  3. For classic style a la Amelia Earhart, team an aviator jacket over a cream top or blouse and add a decorative scarf around your head or neck.

Precious Stones

This season’s antidote to a dull wardrobe is rich jewel

tones and dazzling metallics.

Worried about making a statement with bright colours? These regal hues let you shine without being over the top.

How to get the look

  1. Don’t be afraid to layer your metallics this winter.

  1. The introduction of bronzed hues and gold will be sure to get noticed on a night out.

  1. Take this opportunity to add colour to your  wardrobe. Try jazzing up a plain suit with an emerald scarf or sparkling statement earrings.

  1. Channel Dorothy and add some ruby shoes to your collection.

Tailored

For timeless structured style draw inspiration from silhouettes of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s glamour of fluid tailoring. Make a statement by adding all the trimmings; tilby, gloves, cuff links, patterned socks, brogues, umbrella and briefcase.

How to get the look

  1. Adapt a tailored work suit by teaming the blazer with more feminine pieces. A clever look for all  shapes and sizes.

  1. Bring out your inner diva and accentuate long legs or a small waist by putting a pair of ‘70s  wide length pants with a sleek tailored jacket.
