| Dear Groovy Grandmas
Hi, I have recently become a member of the wonderful Groovy Grandmas and I was very pleased to complete the survey and to my surprise a little gift arrived in the post, thank you so much. We have recently had additions to our family grandchildren 9 & 10 arrived, yes twins, we are all still trying to get our head around that one. Mum and bubs are doing very well.
Once again thanks for the great items in your mag
Cheers

Welcome to GG’s Colleen. Keep reading and you will find that Bryony will be in the same position as you (twins on the way). She may need to call on you for some advice in the coming months.

Bryony,
I was interested to read your article about your home. As soon as I opened the page and saw the name of your house Wirrianda, a light bulb went on. Then when you mentioned your school had Aboriginal names for houses I knew you were a Cheltenham Girl. I was there 1966 - 71 and was in Petarli (moon). Bessie Mitchell was so far ahead of her time in the way she set things up there!
I am having a grandma day today. I take one day a week off (I work full time) to look after my granddaughter while my daughter-in-law works - what a special time.
Keep up the good work.
Lynette
For those who didn’t attend the same school, Bessie Mitchell was the principal.
I have just joined and would like to submit a Poem for inclusion.
BLESSINGS
We need to count our BLESSINGS daily
It will help us learn and face life gaily
Before we stride out to meet the day
Stop and listen to what GOD has to say
There may be a lonely Soul to meet
If we don't stop, we'll pass in the street
Or perhaps a child will need tender care
If we don't listen, we won't be there
Then our smile or touch will go astray
And fail to lift a burden along the way
Yvonne
Thanks Yvonne, We are always happy for members to send in submissions.

I have just gone to the newsagent where I bought my first copy of Groovy Grandmas so that I could purchase the new one out and they informed me they haven't got it and probably won't be getting it. I bought it from the Ourimbah Newsagent on the Central Coast.
I asked a few other newsagents whether they will stock your publication and they hadn't heard of it. I am really keen to get the next issue, so could you let me know the closest place I can get it. I live near Westfield Tuggerah. Or, if you do it, I would be happy to subscribe to the "hard copy editions".
Regards .... Connie Kell
PS Thank you for my gift of the childrens book in the mail - gorgeous.
Dear Connie
The Annual – was taken off the news-stands just last month. I am still waiting to see the final sales numbers before deciding whether to do the magazine more than once a year and should get those in the next couple of weeks.
Depending on the figures we may do a quarterly print edition on a subscription basis or put the new print edition in stores or both. However we decide I will certainly be letting all the GGs know when the next edition is ready.
I am glad you liked the Buzzy book. Funnily, the main character was originally based on yours truly and I have just found out that my daughter is expecting – TWINS! Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Warm Regards
Bryony

Thank you for your wonderful little book it was well written and the drawings were great.
I shall give it to my Granddaughter on her birthday.
Sad loss in my family recently, my 4 yrs old Great-Grandson fell out of a two story window and there was no hope, they turned off the life support yesterday. He will be greatly missed by all. It makes one appreciate all life, I look at the tiny ants and realise that if they fell from such a height nothing would happen to them because they are so light. But then life is so awesome a tiny insect is empowered with life as well as a huge human and other animals, it makes one wonder just what it life?
Have a great day
Grace Lee
Dear Grace, Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your Great Grandson. This would be everyone’s worst nightmare. I hope you and your family are able to find some comfort and hope for the future.
From all the team at Groovy Grandmas and I am sure I speak for everyone who reads this magazine. Our love and thoughts are with you.

Dear Groovy Grandmas
Wow! What a great new issue, thank you for publishing my Scottish Country Dancing story, Can't wait to go dancing on Thursday evening and take the Mag with me.
Thank you also for the lovely little book, Buzzy and the Race Day, that will be very special for my youngest Grandchildren to read when they visit.
Please keep up the good work, it is so refreshing and enjoyable to be able to read something interesting that does not involve who is leaving who, who is sleeping around and what is happening in the various Royal households around the World.(just as if they would really know)?
Thank you all again, you gorgeous Groovy Grandmas.

You do a great job but I was wondering where the photo page is so we can brag about our beautiful grandchildren????
Thanks,
Julie

That’s all from me this month. Keep your emails coming.
